Our Space
On March 29, 2007 an empty storefront on East 42nd Street in New York City was converted into an art installation titled Our Space, a collaborative project engaging twenty-three students from The Beacon School in New York City.
The New Museum of Contemporary Art's education program G:Class facilitated the collaboration. The art organization chashama provided the storefront on East 42nd Street.
Prior to the project, students worked in the classroom experimenting with posture, pose, and gesture.
